how to turn my windows 7 starter to windows 7 ultimate

before i format my pc im currenly using windows 7 ultimate . now turning to windows 7 starter. i want my windows 7 ultimate back

If I understand you properly, you reinstalled Windows, and now you have Win Starter.
If that`s so, it`s because you used a Win 7 Starter installer pack instead of the Ultimate one. And the only way to fix this is to reinstall Win7 and to use an Ultimate pack for this.

BTW, did your activation serial number work from Ultimate to Starter? Or you didn`t try to activate the Starter pack yet?
