Most games suddenly lagging

I have a laptop with a AMD 8670M gpu and Intel i5 3230M CPU. Recently, all my games, apart from Need for Speed MW 2012 and FIFA 14 have been lagging. I can only get up to 8fps with old games like NFS Underground 2 and Call of Duty: MW 2. I have reset the setting in Catalyst Control Center and tried changing in-game graphics settings but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Yesterday. I thought it would fix the problem. My CPU is around 67C and GPU around 65C in NFS: U2

I hate to point out the obvious but you never know with the internet these days....

Did you maybe have a windows update? That can screw with the drivers. It might be worth to to check your drives and windows updates. Ofcourse you also want to check your game updates. Hopefully its not from a windows update, cause then you are waiting on the drivers to update; so rolling back the update may be a better option IF that is the case.

As the person above me mentioned, cleaning out the fins and channels on the laptop can help. You can also try a small USB fan blowing at the back of your laptop, which my surprise you how much that helps. Just my starting thoughts.

There was an update for WDM 1.3 or something like that. I've tried installing it. It has no effect and left my fan running constantly at 100% so i uninstalled it.
