I'm looking to upgrade from a AMD fx 8350 to a i7 4770k for more CPU intensive games... Cough arma cough

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/YqcZjX

These are the parts I would be replacing ^^^^. The ones I currently have don't really matter afaik.
My memory is some Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz ram. Duel Channel 16gb 2x8gb

It works fine with my cheapo mobo and my AMD fx 8350. So would the ram still be compatible and is there anything you would do to shave off the pcpart picker to make it cheaper (other than the CPUs itself) or even improve for less? What would you guys recommend. My current GPU is a abus gtx 780. Also I will be buying these parts in April.

Solution
Yes that ram will work fine. Idk what you could do to save money a cheaper case maybe? Look at the corsair 230t lots of room great airflow and its cheap not the best looker but very functional for a good price.

DRAM compatibilty is dicatated by your motherboard and not by the CPU. CPUs have a basic memory requirement (i.e. Intel Core i7 4770K uses non-ECC DDR3), but the actual compatibility is governed by the motherboard's BIOS. Check the motherboard manufacturer's website for the most current list of compatible memory.
