GTX980 SLI for 1440p surround?

I never planned on doing a surround set up but I recently acquired 2 Dell 2713HMs from a company that was upgrading to 4k. I already have one so now I have 3 beautiful 1440p monitors. I am currently using a GTX980 and it works wonders, If I add a second one will I be able to use the system in a surround set up? I am not sure if I would run into a Vram issue, if so I guess I could run them at 1080p.

hmm thats 11059200 pixels a single 4k is 8294400 pixels. 3 1440ps montiors is pretty demanding, it may be playable but I am cant say how well in every game.


you could always send me one if you feels its not worth the hastle :) I dont think i could fit 2 1440ps and a 1080p on my desk haha
