Recently I have noticed my desktop is not receiving the same speeds as my laptop. I have tried connecting my desktop by ethernet, and wifi, but both with the same results. This has occurred at two different houses, one uses AT&T and the other Comcast. Currently I'm at my dads house and he uses comcast. And example right now would be my desktop receiving about the same download as my laptop (40-50mbps) but my desktop is only getting 1-1.5mbps upload while my laptop is receiving 5-6mbps. Btw my laptop is a macbook pro, and my desktop is using windows 8.1. Also, someone recommended me to update my network driver. How do I do that? I went to the option where windows updates drivers automatically, but nothing installed, and speeds were the same after a restart.
