Can somebody please explain the difference between these 2 different models?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy some Corsair Dominator Platinum and would like to know the difference between these 2 models:
CMD16GX3M4B2133C9
and
CMD16GX3M4A2133C9

The second one is a 1.5V module, and the first one is 1.65V. For haswell you should go with 1.5V. Other than that, no differences.

I'd suggest 2x8GB for 16GB total on Haswell, less stress on the MC (memory controller) and ever so slightly faster. Voltage doesn't matter, 1.5 is the suggested voltage for 1600 sticks, 95+ % of all sticks 2133 and up are 1.6-1.65 and are perfectly safe. Plus for 16GB sort of ridiculously expensive for little return, you can get a number of sets of 2x8GB (or even 4x4GB) for far less and put the difference towards a better GPU, mobo, SSD, etc. The Tridents are $160 for 2x8GB of 2133/9 or even with your CPU go the 2400/10 at the same price at Newegg (+ the 2400 set is on special you get $20 off so only $140 at the moment through the 12h of the month
