Hi,

I am currently in the market for a new gaming PC and I have decided to build my own. I have looked at some other builds in the forums and have gone through multiple configurations to try and get the performance I want. I would like to know if the current configuration that I have chosen may have shortcomings, bottlenecks, problems, etc. and which components would replace those problems. I have around ~$1200-1300 (preferably towards the $1200) to work with but a majority of the components will be purchase through Amazon. I have decided to buy a couple initial components from another vendor if the savings is worth it (thus the two items from Newegg), but mostly I'm going to leverage financing from Amazon to pay for the components.

Some potential items that I would like to take into consideration down the road would be adding more memory, an SSD, and perhaps a second monitor.

Here is the component list:

Saves you a $1 but it comes with an SSD, better deal on HDD, a better PSU, and a better cooler for the CPU if you OC it.

Could you recommend a cheaper motherboard that would be comparable to the one I've chosen but doesn't have the unnecessary features of SLI/Crossfire compatibility?

Thanks, I appreciate your help.
