ASrock z97 proffesional refusing to update bios

My motherboard is refusing to update its bios every time i attempt to install the BIOS after the reset the computer gets stuck on the asrock logo and I have to hard reset it to getthe computer to boot up.

my mobo is extremly outdated


can someone please help?

iv gone into the asrock website to download the latest bios, once downloaded I click onto the program and it tells me I will need to restart my pc before updating, so the PC resets and switches back on but now its getting stuck on the asrock logo screen where it says hit f2 or delete to enter bios but nothing happens its stuck
