1 mb unallocated space first partition in clean install of Windows 7

I have installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 Home Premium x64 in UEFI mode, and when I went into Partition Wizard, I saw a 1 mb unallocated partition first, the normal EFI partition second, the normal MSR partition third, and the Windows partition last. Is the unallocated space partition normal? If not, what do I do?

I'm worried about doing that, as the unallocated space is at the VERY beginning of my drive, preceding the EFI partition and MSR partition. What if moving all that around screws it all up?

Depending on the partition manager you may see an offset at the start of the drive for 4k(advanced format) sector alignment.

Moving partitions around can cause issues sometimes because the system is told to look at a certain spot. In general extending a partition does not cause issues while moving(from its start location) it can.

I would not worry about it.

Yeah, I know moving partitions around might have consequences, which is why I held off doing anything until I knew what I was doing. I had a thought that maybe it was just Partition Wizard doing its evil, so I checked with Minitools; no unallocated space! I checked with AOMEI; again, no extra partition! I guess the solution was realizing the phenomenon at its source. Well, thanks anyway for confirming my *ahem* "results."
