Hello, I have finally received my new components for my PC. That is i5-4690k and Asus Z97-C motherboard. In my current rig I have an Athlon X4 750k and Asus F2A55-M/CSM.
So is it necessary to format my Hard Drive again or no? If no, where do I find the drivers of the old motherboard to remove them so I don't have any compatibility issues later?
Thanks.

No way to skip it. Should note that you are changing from AMD to Intel. Also even if you are changing on the same manufacturer, there's still no way of using the same installation unless it's the same chipset. Even then there's a risk. If you use the same installation, it might give you BSODs as well as it can harm the motherboard in a bad way too.. There's no escape for that.
