Is Gtx 760 2 way sli on msi z97s sli krait edition possible ?

Hey I wanted to know if i can use 2 way sli with gtx 760s on the msi z97s sli krait edition?
I know that it supports sli . But wanted to check if it has the right pci slots,etc

i had initially thought of getting msi z97 gaming 5 or msi z97gd65. But both are out of my budget so i found a cheaper alternative that looks as good as the gaming series and almost has similar specs

Yes it will. The Krait switches the PCIe slots to 8x/8x mode with two cards. Had it been 8x/4x the answer would be no because the 4x speed would limit the second card.

Make sure you have a good PSU. You're looking at a 700 watt (or greater) quality PSU.

Thanks so if even if it switches to 8x/8x mode for 2 cards it wont affect performance or limit its performance ?
And is this any different from the way the other msi z97 cards i have mentioned handle 2 cards(8x/8x) ?
And yeah im getting a good psu
getting the Seasonic m12ii 750Bronze Evo Edition

I've already bought one card. Planning to buy the second one in a few month's time

No. Like I said, 4x will limit the performance of an Nvidia card. No, there isn't any difference between motherboards in performance.

Glad to know you're getting a solid PSU.
