Hi geeks

I bought Corsair VS650 PSU after being advised to change from zebronics platinum 500 to use with my new Zotac GTX 970 Amp!! Extreme.

But still my PC wont boot.
When I turn on my PC without connecting the power cables of the GPU the system boots fine then starts sounding the 2 beeps as it is supposed to. But when I connect the power cables back my system is dead with no response.

Am I missing something? Please help me with this....

I'm pretty sure the GTX 970 bios is UEFI, and thus, your motherboard bios has to be UEFI compatible. Do you know if it is UEFI compatible, and if not, can you temporarily boot into Windows with the CPU's GPU and check?

What OS are you using?

If your CPU has a GPU, take out the 970 and hook up the monitor to the motherboard. If not, use another graphics card for now. Then, update your bios to the latest version and try the 970 again.

Could you please tell me the make and model of your motherboard?
