Windows 7 will not boot past loading screen.

I recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU from stock to a MSI 970A-G43 and an AMD FX-4350 4.2GHz processor. I am currently running my old graphics card, an XFX R7850 1GB DDR5, but only until I can get the computer up and running. I have a 500W power supply, more than enough juice.

My problem is that every time I try to boot the computer, Windows 7 will go to the loading screen, lock up, and then restart. Upon restart, I get the option to run startup recovery or boot as normal. If I put in the CD with the drivers on it and boot from disk, it opens up this thing called Winki, and I can use the file manager to locate and explore the disk drive, but I can't install anything. If I use the command prompt under the system restore settings on startup recovery, I can explore both the hard drive and the disk drive, but it also will not let me run any exe files because recovery runs out of the system32 folder. I am worried that I will need to put all the old hardware back in just to install the drivers. Is there any way to fix this without undoing all the work I did putting it together?

Solution
Your currently installed drivers and Windows 7 Registry are looking for your old motherboard/CPU. Not finding them, your system fails to boot. Your best option is going to be to *re-install Windows 7.

*Note - If you're using an OEM version of Windows 7, that license is tied to your old motherboard. Per the license agreement, you are required to purchase a new Windows 7 license. However, many people have reported success in transferring the old license to the new motherboard using the Telephone Microsoft method for activation.
