You need to find out your cpu load temps not idle temps.
You will need to run a stress test to put a load on the cpu, something like Prime95.

well first off, its wise too run a stress test like ShadyHamster said, and second you will need an after market cooler to keep things running cool, like the cooler master evo 212, you can get one for around $40, the 6300 is easily overclockable and can reach 4ghz alone on air cooling but the temps is what matters, everybody has their own comfort zone when it comes to this, just experiment with overclocking and see what makes you uncomfortable. p.s. an aftermarket cooler is a must
