Man... Please oh please for the love of everything that is holy, get rid of that PSU... if it isnt the source of your 'no post' at the moment, it will be the source of destroying your system in the near future.. A bad PSU can cause system instability, damage to PC components, and even sometimes fry the entire system...

Coolmax is one of those brands you need to avoid at all costs...

They could have mis-installed your CPU. Check to make sure there are no bent pins. Another possible problem is RAM, as you had identified, but it seems like that is out of the question. You should make sure that you have all your mob power connecters plugged in. If that still doesn't work, I'd recommend getting a professional.

Is there any way you can borrow a PSU from somewhere and do an out of the case barebones test, just mobo with 1 stick of ram and CPU. And see if it posts?

There are plenty of Youtube videos on how to do that...

Im afraid that it might be the PSU, seeing as in our previous posts we mentioned how horrible that specific one is.

I believe I have a solution to your problem, but I may be incorrect.

I have an MSI A88x-G45 GAMING motherboard, paired with an A10-6800k APU from AMD. Everything ran fine, until I shorted the whole system and my CPU fried.

I replaced the motherboard and the CPU with the same ones you have, the MSI A58M-E35 as well as the AMD x4 860k.

Turns out, my old motherboard is NOT shorted out, everything is displayed fine, and I used the 860k in place of the 6800k that was fried. New post code on the LED indicators: d5.

This meant something with the memory, and a lot of people were getting that specific error code because THEIR MOTHERBOARD DIDN'T SUPPORT THE 860K. I had to have had a recent BIOS update for them to be compatible. Out of the box, my motherboard supported the Trinity and Richland cores. In a recent update in August of 2014, did they start supporting the Kaveri cores (x4 860k is a Kaveri core).

I believe your problem is that your motherboard DOES support the socket, it just needs a bios update before it will accept it. I ordered a cheap A4 5300 APU on eBay for $30, hopefully it does the trick. I'm in the same boat as you!
