I recently bought my first SSD and used it to install my OS on. After a couple days my computer would not turn unless I hit the restart button about 10 times. I assumed I ended up with a bad SSD so I bought a new one. The exact same thing is happening. Everything was perfect the first couple days and now today I had to hit the restart button about 5 times for it to start. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Or did I just get really unlucky and get 2 bad drives?

When the system wont boot, enter the bios and see if the SSD is being detected.
Have you tried new/different SSD cables? (power & data)

Which motherbd do you have?
I read that some SSD's respond to the motherbds sata query too quickly & cause the motherbd to not detect them.
