Hi, I just got a pretty good gaming PC with all new parts. However, in the future I think I will want to upgrade my motherboard (and therefore processor, RAM, etc.) and I want to know how to pick out a new motherboard that will be compatible with my computer.
Here are some current specs:
Motherboard: H81M-VG4
Processor: i7 4790
GFX card: Nvidia 970
Power supply: 700W
Memory: 2x 8GB 1600MHz
Storage: 3TB hard drive
Storage: 1 secondary hard drive
Networking: 54Mbps chip
Also, what are some good, less than $200 motherboard options?
