Completely new Build. I7 4790k vs I7 4930k. Or something else?

So basically I am looking to upgrade my computer from the ground up. I'm basically building a whole new computer and I for one like to start with picking out a cpu and mobo to start the build off with. I basically have a budget around 3.5k so I'm not too stingy on what I want to spend. I will be gaming with a SLI set-up and I do some very basic coding/content creation but I am looking into getting more serious. I do have to mention the fact that I have looking at the Haswell-E line-up and noticed some reliability issue ( expected with a new type of product ). To get to the point, I would like some opinions on what to get for a nice future proof (that phrase has many meanings) rig. Thanks so much for opinions and please feel free to post links that support your argument, reading tech articles is something that I tend to enjoy!

If you care more about picture quality than better smoothness, you could check out this monitor, It's 1440p with IPS with 60Hz. Cheaper than the Swift but it is IPS.

I had this stuff picked out at the moment. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/lukee254/saved/VYmWGX
-I do like the stuff that you have picked out. Your storage picks are insane though, not to say that's bad. I have a 1 tb HDD atm and plan to re-use that and pick up a 500gb-1tb SSD instead of HDD's. Thanks for the incite!!

Well, I just see faulty hardware that have been produced by companies. But that may just be biased people just ranting about things that they are nit-picky about. I'm guessing you have had good experiences with haswell-e? Also, I am doing "basic" coding for now, but I am a computer engineering/CS major so the processes will get more intense as time goes on.

Yes sir :) But is there anything else comparable? 800$ is a bit to spend on a monitor, but I will for the best :)

See, I was going to wait for that as well. But from what I have seen skyline will only provide a 20% increase in performance. That's a rough estimate. Could be more or less, but I don't think that 20% is going to be a huge deal breaker for me. I would like to use the computer within a month or two.

I'm afraid not, I moved on onto TVs instead of monitors :??:

considering that we have been going up by about 5% each new chip (and way down in OC potential) 20% is huge

I went with 20% to not offend anyone due to my lack to concrete evidence either way. Sorry for the confusion!!

That one is extremely expensive. Near a grand or so I do believe. But it's something to look at once it's out!!

Yeah, that will probably increase my build by a couple more thousand to handle that, lol, for 4k I mean :)
