I am looking to upgrade my pc but I don't know what parts to upgrade. I can only afford one. I have a GTX 770 and an Amd fx 8350 cpu. I am either going to get a GTX 980 or an Intel 4790k plus a different motherboard. If you could help please do and thank you.
Recommendations on what I should upgrade too.

Go with the new CPU/MB. You are at the top of the food chain with the AM3+ socket. You won't see any major gaming improvement, but the Intel platform will offer you more future potential if you get a Z97 board.
But if instant gaming gratification is most important, grab the GTX 980.
