need some help!!!

my ps3 super slim shows a message saying "the system software cannot be run correctly, press the ps button to try to restart the system. connect storage media that contains data of version 4.66 or later then press the START and SELECT buttons at the same time." but when i do the usb storage it works but it then freezes at 77% is there anyway that could fix it

You may need a new HDD, if you get one here are the steps
(A) Back up current data to USB storage media
(B) Remove current hard drive from the console
(C) Install new hard drive
(D) Format new hard drive
(E) Restore the backed up data.
