So I am getting a new case and know I need to change my thermal paste. I have watched some videos on YouTube on what to do as Iv'e never done it before. In every video they use the stock heatsink (or just a fan heatsink not a liquid cooler) so I was wondering do I still wipe both the CPU and my Corsair h100i with isopropyl alcohol?
Also what thermal paste would you recommend? I think I might buy the Arctic Cooling MX-4, Iv'e heard this is a good paste.

You can use the same method to re apply thermal paste. Anyway, if you are not removing the cooler even if you are changing your casing, you don't need to do that.

Also if your motherboard is an old one, it may not have the flexibility which it had as brand new. So changing the casing or removing the cooler of an old motherboard has a risk is braking the paths of the motherboard.
