Hi, i bought an evga geforce gtx 760 superclocked 4gb, then pre ordered an MSI Gaming 9 Z97 ac motherboard, then realized MSi's website doesnt have this card on its compatibility list, it has a MSI geforce 760 2gb but no evga cards(just newer Nvidias and msi, and one amd), will it still work or did I loose my $40 deposit? Thanks for any help!

It will be fine. It is a pcie graphics card and as long as you have a pcie slot free you should be all good.
