As the title states, I'll be building a new high end PC soon. I'm not a huge fan of racers, but I want to get all kinds of games to push my new rig's graphics/performance capabilities and see how they look. One genre I'd like to try is racing.

What's a good racing game to test my new system with? I don't care if it's arcade or sim, or how popular it is. I just want something that has great graphics, some nice weather and night/day settings, and basically just lots of eye candy. And this goes without saying, but I'd want a decently optimized game for PC.

Any suggestions?

The Crew is garbage. Graphics aren't good, cars... they don't feel right. I'd say NFS Rivals but it's capped at 30 fps, so I will say Need For Speed Most Wanted. It's one of the best looking racing games for PC, actually it's my favorite. And it can make you get more juice out of your GPU.

lol I don't think you should buy a game just to look at it. If you don't like racers there's no point in getting a racing game. There are so many other games that look better than most racing games. But if your heart is set on one I've always liked the way burnout paradise looks and it's a pretty fun game.
