So something strange is happening. When I have Digital Output (connected via optical) selected as my default device the equalizer in the driver settings does not work.
However when I have Speakers selected it seems to work(not even sure how the sound is getting to my headphones, as it is connected via optical...)
This worries me that possibly other things that I thought were working in the driver actually aren't, and I just haven't noticed.
