If I revove the Sound Card, Will it help with Heating issues?

For some stupid reason I installed a sound card right above the Video Card, I don't know why. I might remove the whole card anyway.
If I remove it will it help with any heating issues?
I'm going to add another Video Card soon so It'll going to be right above it, or below it.

That is the only logical place to put it.

All high performing graphics cards will use two slots so if you use sli, the only other possibility will be a lower x16 slot.
Heat rises, so that, in theory would be worse.
All in all, though where you put the sound card is a non issue.
