Hello,
I'm trying to upgrade my rig which currently has a pre-built water cooling (Corsair H100i), i'm looking to upgrade my components and tried to get everything cooled.

I want to know what I need to acquire and if possible any help into picking components.

I also want to know if I need to remove my H100i and if theres any video out there that could help me into getting custom liquid cooling.

Key: ? = Don't know what to get

Case: ? (Prefer Color White)
CPU: Intel i7 3770k (owned)
Motherboard: Z97?
RAM: 16GB DDR3?
GPU: Galaxy GTX970 HOF 4GB GDDR5?
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB (owned)
PSU: 1000W PSU?

Budget is about 700$

Thanks,
Any help would be appreciated.

You should be looking to get a reference design GPU so the water blocks will fit on it.

You should not need a PSU above 850W for a single GPU loop. An Evga Supernova G2 850W is a good choice.

Ram is usually whatever is cheapest between Vengeance (corsair) and Hyperx (kingston)

For cases, you could try an NZXT H440 White, Or a corsair 760T

I see this is an older thread but I can help you my friend firstly what would be your budget for anything secondly what are you looking for stable temp around the 30-50c range or something that can stay quiet though it does get higher for more quiet stuff but I think I might just have the thing for you to look at since you seem to be into video editing and gaming and such let me check if I can find something very good for this I will make a part list and tell me I'd you cannot afford and we will work around it eh also you cannot get a Z97 board with a 3770k only a z77 so I'd say sell the cpu which still retails used around $250 or so on ebay so I'll build you a system real quick and send the list to you I hope I can help you with your needs

I to an extent can agree to that but just do research and find out what you want for it though for some who are new it's hard you just need to be willing to get your feet wet in the pc world I myself in under a year now almost everything about a pc physically still working on software though but it can help you so much later on

I think you accidentally replied to me.

Also decent custom loop can run $400 alone if you liquid cool the gpu and cpu which kills all the rest of the stuff stay with what you have get a gtx 970, about a 850W psu say a corsir rm 850 awesome power supply, get a corsair 730t or something like a corsair 750d and just paint the 750d white which would look awesome, 16gb of corsair vengance pro (a 2x8gb kit) and for the motherboard say a nice asus z77 sabertooth if possible so you get the rock hard stability of the sabertooth series and if your cpu is getting hot with that h100i which I don't see it doing that the h100i is a great aio liquid cooler but if it runs hot try a be quiet silent wings air cooler thingy for it and enjoy the cooling and silence of it
