I want to build an editing PC, following is the configuration that I have planned.

i5 4960K
GigaByte Z97-D3H
WD 1TB Caviar
Samsung 120GB SSD EVO
Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3
Zotac NVIDIA 730/740
GameMax 9601-A Cabinet
Corsair VS650 PSU
Creative 5.1 Sound Card

And, Thats all.. Kindly help. In a huge fix.
Kindly provide suggestions about compatibility & sustainability, or any alternates!!

Solution
I7 or Xeon for the cpu, whether you stick withe the z board is your choice, since OC is not a priority, but you should get a mobo that fits the possible options you are looking for, external usb3/2 drives, multiple monitors, WiFi, etc. And get ram. Lots. A friend of mine renders professionally, and he won't touch a pc with less than 64Gb of ram.

ok! thank you, apart from hard drive are other things fine??

The i5 will work, but a core i7 with hyperthreading would do much better for your needs. If you don't plan to overclock, you could drop the "k" model cpu and go with a H97 board. It might save a few bucks for the other parts you need. 8 gigs of ram will work, but you might benefit from 16 gigs. The rest looks ok.

Use a Logisys CS206BK ATX Mid Tower Case w/480W Power Supply because this is a much better deal. I've used this before dont fear the "built in PSU" It's a nice PSU and It would be good for your build. Switch ram to 2 team elite 4gb DDR3 ram because ram is ram and it wont make a difference so always go cheaper on ram. Other than that your good. Everything seems compatible.

I'm thinking of i7 4790 / 4790K as the processor, i would stick with the mobo as it has OC along with 6 USB 2.0 & 6 USB 3.0 along with 6 ports on-board. It can support 3 monitors even with on-board graphics with resolution of upto 4K HD @60fps.

and I will think about the ram, as I'm still a student.

is the config right now?

So, finally i have ended up on:

i7 4790K
GigaByte Z97-D3H
WD 1TB Caviar
Samsung 120GB SSD EVO
Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3
MSI TWIN FROZR GeForce GTX 750Ti
GameMax 9601-A Cabinet
Cooler Master: Thunder 600W PSU
AOC E2262 VWH - Monitor
1000VA UPS

I guess a 600W PSU will be enough or should i stick to 650W?
And will all these things be compatible??

Looks good mostly. I've never been a big fan of CoolerMaster psu's though, and if you plan on sticking with just a 750ti, you only need a decent 430w+ psu. If you are thinking about a future upgrade for strength in games, plan for that budget and get the psu now so it'll not need an upgrade. A gtx 970 will run all day on a quality 550w or better, but a r9 290 can really use a 600w

The i7-4790K + GTX750Ti will perform great for this, but I would like to share some things that I would have done differently:

If it were me, I would do an X99 or C612 chipset motherboard with ECC memory support and an E5 Xeon instead. The cost would not have been much different (add ~$100-200) but you'd have an upgrade path to 18+ cores and 512GB of memory. Furthermore, you'd have a true enterprise grade computer in terms of compute accuracy.

I would have opted for a ~250GB SSD from Crucial. The quality is similar and the real world performance is similar, but you get twice the capacity for only ~30% more cost.

The CM Thunder series PSUs are trash, I mean, of the worst imaginable kind. I wouldn't use a Thunder series PSU to power a $200 computer, much less something like this.

Thanks alot for your help friend, but I live in India, and am already spending 80,000 Indian Rupees which i have already stretched by 10,000 Rupees. About PSU: I was also thinking of a Corsair 650W PSU instead of this one.
