I want to buy 3 Samsung 27" S27A850D monitors to run eyefinity on my XFX R9 290X. I was planing on using two DVI and the display port as these monitors only support DVI-I and display port. Anyone see any issues with this setup? Looking for comments before I buy the monitors.

Thanks for this, I should probably have stated I am already running 3 x 25" samsung monitors (1080p) in eyefinity mode ; using two DVI and one HDMI calbes. I guess when I asked the question it sounded more detailed in my head

What type of cables should I use/buy for this? My cable length does not need to exceed 4ft for each cable.
Will I be able to get 7680X1440 with the cables specified or do I need to use a display port hub gizmo?

I don't see why it shouldn't work. I don't think a displayport is necessary, just use the cables you already have.
