Building a Gaming PC, am i missing anything and can it run Arma 3 and Star Citizen?

alright so i want to build a gaming PC so i can run games like ARMA 3 and Star Citizen as the current laptop i have can't. I am totally new and have never built a PC before but i'm somewhat of a geek/gamer and did some research. That said any imput would be helpful. Here is what i have so far:

Aside from Mouse, keyboard, and monitor and i missing anything? also will this setup be able to run Arma 3 and Star CItizen? and not just run mediocre i want like high on all settings. I went off of jack frag's video on how to build a PC so it should handle games like BF4 fine (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WQxr59KRto) please give me your opinions and let me know if i'm missing anything or if something isn't compatible. thx!

With what you are building, you could play those games but in low to medium/high settings. I just started PC gaming and there are way too many parts out there to keep track of. There is a website called pcpartpicker.com that will let you select the parts that you need plus give you the lowest price out there, and the prices are updated pretty frequently, as well as a watt tracker to see how much power you will consume. Also get a Power Supply with more watts, especially since your going the AMD way. AMD parts tend to consume more power and output more heat but AMD parts are better for the Price to Performance side of gaming. I would suggest that you go to that site and find the CPU that you want to go with and go from there. It will only show you compatible parts for your build. As far as the GPU that you chose, the r9 270x, this is not the best card out there, trust me you wont be playing games out there like Far Cry 4 on ultra, maybe if lucky you could run it on high. Star Citizen is still to be completed but it will be a hefty game to play on higher setting from what I have heard. But this all depends on your budget and what you want to invest on your setup. I myself am running a GTX 970 with a i7 4790k with 12g RAM. I can play most games out there at High/Ultra presets, I wanted a good and smooth experience with all the games I play. Arma 3 is a very demanding game as well, as long as you are willing to deal with medium graphics you should be fine.
Requirements for Star Citezen
MINIMUM-Windows 7 or 8 64-bit, Dual Core CPU (Intel: Core2 Duo 2.4Ghz, AMD: Phenom X2) 8GB of RAM, NVidia Geforce 460GTX, AMD Radeon HD5850 (DirectX 11 only)
RECOMENDED- i5 2500, i7 2600, 2700 or better with a GTX 670 or greater (DX 11 only).

I would change the PSU as I don't recongize that specific brand, and maybe the case too to something from a well known brand as this could be a hit or miss case. This system should run both without a doubt so I wouldn't worry about it. Another thing to is to get a little stronger psu then a 550 so you will have some room for expansion if you ever want to expand.

Recap: Name Brand PSU like Corsair or SeaSonic that is higher then 550 watt and a different case.
