Problem with Realtek HD audio manager, can't get the subwoofer to work

Hi, I have Realtek HD audio manager and I can't get itunes, pandora, or the music app in Windows 8.1 (or anything for that matter). My subwoofer will work if I do a test through the application but nothing will use it. Any idea how to fix it? If you need more info let me know and I will try to get it. Thank you very much!

  1. This is a big problem with the software side of computers. Did you update the audio drivers on you motherboard? Have you uninstalled all your audio drivers? This might take a lot of reading on the web or tweaking your settings.

I had realtek on my motherboard, then I got razer surround, and now I have a Creative Z sound card.

You can go into Asus website, search for your motherboards name, and they should have some download links.
