Chrome vs Firefox ?

Ok my specs are in description. Lately I'm tired of Chrome and that ram usage for no reason. Also with dual setup monitor sometimes youtube/twitch starts shuttering if I dont click on that video. For example if I play twitch stream on second monitor and on first game, video player will start shuttering or even game, till I dont click on that player and then video is again normal.

I installed Firefox after couple years and I noticed that its faster and it use less memory aswel. That shuttering on fullscreen and going back is annoying but I found fix with about:config command and putting cache on 80000kb. Now works fairly smooth.

My question is from your experiance, is Firefox trully faster browser and I ignored everything beside Chrome couple years ? Also does Firefox play youtube videos at 1080/720p in 60fps ? In chrome there is "45/60fps" beside 720p/1080p option so I know is video truly in 60fps. Doesnt feel like 60fps in Firefox for me and on 60fps video there is only "1080p" instead "1080p60fps".

Thanks.

Chrome uses the built in "pepper flash plugin" which has some differences from Adobe Flash that you would download from the website, which could be the cause of more buginess in Chrome. However, there are some things I like better about Chrome. The address bar at the top is both search engine and address bar, I like them as one rather than separate. I think it has a cleaner look to it.

However, as a web designer I have noticed Firefox seems to be best.

Although the general consensus for Firefox is it is bogged down as a huge process and can be more resource intensive, Chrome has been doing the same lately I've noticed on my usage as well as my peers usage. The addons on Chrome and extensions prove to be a CPU/Network hog, and Firefox, when I used it frequently, wouldn't be nearly as much of a CPU/Net hog as much as Chrome has been lately. TL;DR: Use Firefox. If you are a techie, it's more code friendly and open anyways :)

And let's not forget the 3D webpage view :p

I am a web designer too and I prefer chrome. I've tried Firefox but just prefer how chrome feels.

It's up to preference I suppose, but Firefox is no doubt more open ended towards the field than Chrome is.
