Hi,
First I want to mention that this happens on all Windows OS (Windows 8, 8.1, 10 standard, pro, ultimate, etc).EXCEPT for Windows 7.
Every time I do a fresh USB install of the OS, I get to the Windows loading logo, and right after that it stays a black screen. This happens on all types of OS, except for Windows 7.
I've returned and replaced every single part of my PC to make sure every part was working. Here is my build:
ASROCK Extreme 4 Z97
Gigabyte GTX 970
Intel i5 4690K
G.Skill Ripjaw X Series 2x4GB
Samsung EVO 256GB SSD
Western Digital Blue 1TB 7200RPM
Corsair CXM series 750W
What I've tried:
-Replacing each part
-Trying with/without GTX 970, and trying output slot from GTX 970 or motherboard directly
-Installing OS on either SSD or HDD, and having either connected/disconnected
-On a rare occassion (1%, really) it would allow me to go in with Safe Mode, but shortly everything goes black again.
-BIOS works perfectly and recognizes every computer part, updated to newest too
-Tried putting RAM in different slots (1 & 3, 2 & 4)
-Use different USB (always above 8GB)
Anyone might know what the problem is? It's a problem for me not to have win8=[
