the tier something. im using a aerocool strike x 600 watts which is in tier 4 of the psu hierarchy here in tomshardware and is considered to be replaced immediately. so far no issues for me.
well that is up to you if you want to replace it to a more trusted brand like thermaltake, evga, corsair or xfx.
all in all that 450 watts will be enough to run it.
and by the way i used to run a gtx 650 ti boost on a korean true rated full sleeved 450 watts psu (powerstation 2 450 watts blue) and i got no issues and whatsoever encountered.

thanx ......but 1st m going to buy a gtx 660...............but im confused between asus and msi .......which brand is better ??? some says asus have better cooling ......... does it means msi is much hotter than asus ???? i want to buy a msi cause its much cheaper than the asus one

they are pretty much the same don't worry it all depends on your cpu case airflow.
btw the msi twin frozr looks cooler
like what they all say - get the cheaper gpu regardless of the brand because they are all the same chips with different looking coolers and just factory overclocked which you can do yourself.

that core2duo will bottleneck the potential of the gtx 660 i suggest you change that too.
bf4 can utilize up to 8 cores i dunno about performance on a core2duo but im sure about farcry 4 you need to use the dual core injector fix just to run the game. it will run but dont expect smooth gameplay on higher settings and expect fps drops from time to time.

cool that resolution will be perfect for your system.
you could try cranking it up to very high settings and disable AA and nvidia god rays
for battlefield 4 try ultra and also disable aa and hbao+
use fraps to monitor your fps - if it stays around average 40 fps then that is good enough. if you want 60fps just crank down some settigns usually shadows and water effects.

then you cant upgrade later to an i5
the core 2 duo has socket lga 775 while the the newer series if intel uses lga 1150 socket
just buy the board and the i5 after your exam. and what is your ram now? im guessing its ddr2 and not ddr3

what generation of i7 must be 1st gen. that corsair vengeance will be ok.
4th gen i series uses lga 1150
3rd gen i series uses lga 1155
2nd gen i think lga 1156
and 1st gen i think lga 775
we are at 4th gen now. your mobo is good for now. just change it when you plan to get the i5
