Internet speed for online gaming

Hello

i'm concerned about my internet speed, is it anywhere near decent for online gaming?

http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4052516758

I know, my internet sucks shrek's green ogre balls, but it's all i can get for now. Internet is expensive here.

I'll be mainly playing battlefield (my connection to US servers in the bf4 beta for the xbox 360 version was excellent, but i guess that's a whole new ball game, right?), and a few other games like dota, heroes of the storm, no man's sky and planetside 2. I live in South America, and i sometimes play in servers outside my region (mainly US ones) because there are no servers near my location, will my online experience still be somewhat decent in those situations?

Thanks for taking the time to read this and every answer is appreciated! :D

Actually, it's a matter of game, network code and infrastructure.
What you have is actually the bare minimum for any server-based game, provided its netcode is lightweight and solidly standing (which is usually never completely true :p), and as such will let you play relatively good depending on how far you are from the servers (this will mainly happen with most open-world MMOs, for example, and with BF too).
Games that, however, use any kind of lobby (e.g., instance-based MMOs, or CoD, to name something relatively similar to BF) system where YOU act as the server...those will either lag badly for everyone or for everyone but you, at least with that connection.

perhaps but not for instance based mmo's, have been playing swtor(which is instanced) with a 6mb conection and when i upgraded to 100mb it didn't change one bit, actually none of the games got any improvement from going to 100mb lag is about the same perhaps 5-10ms better(ping is simply better with this isp) and that's it, same goes for warframe, titanfall, warthunder, star conflict

True enough, but as I said it's also up to the game. Try to see an instance in Vindictus with anything less than 10mbps in upload and you'll see what I mean ;)

+1 @vembutech
Forgot to note that aspect. If someone else in your home is using the Internet (or someone outside is stealing it), you'll have quite a lot of issues.
