So, I've figured out what I want to get and I'm almost done... only problem is I'm new to building computers and do not know if this is all compatible and will work together well, as well as I am missing a graphics card. No specific price, just not crazy expensive. Aiming to get around 850-900 max for the computer in all, here is the amazon wish list:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/19YLPT9ECEJOU/ref=topnav_lists_1

Any and all help is appreciated.

If you want a card that will run BF4/BF3 on ultra 1080p, an R9 270x/R9 280 will be good for your build. An R9 280 is between a GTX 760 and a GTX 770 in terms of performance. AMD cards have gone down in price and can get very good performance per dollar.

I've been told to steer clear of AMD, and I think I'd take that advice. With the graphics card said, I'll run BF4 fps 60+ on ultra you say?

I do like the GTX 970, but I think I'd put it in later. Its out of my budget for now.

if you want to run games on ultra at 60+fps you will need to up your budget or lower your expectations.

Not really. This will meet your budget and expectations:

^ That's a nice build which you should definitely consider.

That includes tax, does not include any mail in rebates and he made no mention of an OS unless it was after his original post while I assembled the build. There was also no OS present on his "wish list" and he indicated the only other thing he needed was the GPU. Even at 950 with an OS, it's worthwhile. If you do need an OS as well, save more money is my advice.

I don't know what's wrong with AMD cards. The only bad thing I know is that i've heard of good amount of DAO Gigabyte R9 280's.
With the Gigabyte OC R9 280, you will definitely be able to run BF4 on 60+ FPS average. It's overclocked 244 mhz more than the reference card, meaning that you'll get top performance from the R9 280.

Here's a review of the MSI R9 270x:

The price includes tax, but i don't know how much the OS is in the US though.

by your argument he also didn't ask for a psu, but the computer needs one to operate.

may i suggest the i5 4460 cuz its cheaper and well it is pretty much the same with the i5 4590 the only difference is the 3.2ghz compared to 3.3 ghz clock frequency - but the turbo boost feature of the i5-4460 i think goes up to 3.6ghz or 3.4ghz

An XFX R9 270X Dual X is about 150 bucks after rebate. For twenty bucks more, if you went that way, I'd go with the R9 280 that has an additional 1GB of VRAM and can actually utilize it. The 4GB 270X's are mostly a waste of the additional 2GB over the 2GB models as in most cases they don't utilize it.

His wish list has a corsair CX series PSU on it. So yes, it was intended to be included. It still may be that he overlooked needing an OS, I won't argue that, it happens often, but it might just as well not be an oversight. He may already have the necessary OS as well.

http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4590-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4460
The worst comparison i've seen on CPU boss (barely any comparison shown) but it might help-

The 4460 has a 3.2 base with turbo to 3.4. The 4590 has a 3.3 base with turbo to 3.7. It is an option, they also both have the same cache, but we could budget it all the way down to the G3258 and save a LOT more money, but every step backwards just retards the performance a little more as well. It is an option though but it doesn't reduce that much from the price and it's already within budget so I don't see the point.

Try to find amazon if possible, and semi modular is okay. or even non modular. I just need something reliable that can power all that I have listed.

I don't know your geographic location to search the correct amazon, and you are quite capable of taking the part number off the site and searching amazon your self.

With a name like PCMasterRaceDude you would think basic internet searches would be in your wheel house.
