Well, I will be building a pc for a friend and it's getting pretty hard to decide what to get him :/. I would go with the ae pentium and oc it but he isn't confident enough around computers to do that. The 750 dollar budget also needs to include a 23 inch ips monitor and cm storm mouse and keyboard combo.
The psu used will be the Enermax Naxn Advance 650W 80Plus Bronze for 60 dollars, since in our country brands like Seasonic are crazy expensive.
Tyvm.

Far Cry 4 seems to have an issue of not running with Pentiums. You will want an i3, at minimum. If budget is an issue, maybe look at an FX 6300/FX 6350 with a gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3. The Enermax PSU will be ok. Might need to lower the monitor requirement, in order to get a decent enough GPU.

An i3 shouldn't need the patch. With your budget, though, unless you do not need windows, you are probably going to have to get something more like this. An i3 might be doable, if you can live with a cheap H81 board.

My friend already owns a copy of windows. I think I'll go with the i3, it has better performance than the fx 6300 in bf3 and far cry 4, which are the games we will be playing. I'll probably get him to spend a bit more and get a gtx 960 too. Thank you for your help, you made everything pretty clear to me.
