Noctua NH-D14 or NH-D15 for overclocking Core i7 4790k

Hey Guys,

I am searching a good CPU cooler for my new rig. I had decided to with either NH-D15 or NH-D14.
I just want to know which will be the best one. The NH-D14 is cheaper than NH-D15 but I don't know whether it can accommodate GSKILL RipjawsX RAM. So i need some suggestion. Thanks in advance :)

Hi, With either D14 or D15 you would have to move the fan upwards.
According to GSkill, the RAMs height is 40mm: http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-12800cl9d-8gbxl
Now, check both D14, with 44 mm clearance:

and D15, with 64 mm:

If deciding on D15, make sure that the case can accommodate it.
