PC Crashes with White Screens, Blue Screens and Black Screens

Hello, my problem is incredibly frustrating and I have tried everything to fix it. i am going to start off by telling you that I live in Africa so I do not have access to new items as readily as some.
I built my first computer about 4 months ago from all brand new items from Amazon but immediately started having problems with it. First, it constantly said in my BIOS that my cpu was idling at 70C, I ignored this as a sensor error. It then started having a problem with about 1/2 of the games I play where it crashes and both screens go blank, I then have to restart the PC. The second one is when the screen goes white and a buzzing comes out of the speakers, I then have to shut it down (tried leaving for 10 min, but it continued). I think of myself as very technologically adept but I have tried everything and I cannot figure it out. I have also looked on every forum I could find and did everything the said to. For example I:
Ran Memtests on both my RAM Sticks (turned up with nothing)
Ran CPU Load Tests (Normal)
Tried cleaning and reapplying thermal paste on CPU (Stock Fan)
Tried re-installing all drivers and even tried re-installing operating system on 2 separate occasions.
Tried reconnecting and securing wires.
Tried using different power connector for PCI-E GPU
I have even downgraded my GPU driver to see if that makes the crashes less frequent.
Every single one of these has done absolutely nothing to solve my problem so I am hoping that one of you can help me out.

Just for reference, My full System specs are
MSI ATX DDR3 2400 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97 PC MATE
Intel 4790k 4.00 GHz processor (with stock CPU fan)
16 GB RAM Corsair Vengeance (2x8GB sticks)
EVGA GTX 660 Ti 3GB Superclocked GPU (not overclocking it)
WD Blue 1TB HDD 7200 RPM
Corsair CX750 PSU
NZXT Guardian Case

Also, this is my first forum post so please correct me if I post incorrectly.
Thank you so much for your help!

You likely killed the CPU or video card with the overheating. If you install the heatsink poorly or overclock it (since you have the K CPU I'm guessing you overclocked it) with improper colling, you will do likely do damage. The more it crashes the more damage.

Remove the video card, run only on the onboard video, see if that works fine. If it does you can rule out the CPU. Also try it with one RAM stick at a time although memtest said it was OK. You did say the CPU load tests passed which is good.

Did you try a clean Windows setup? If not, that is a good step before you start swapping out parts to find the cause of the crashing.

Sorry, I really should have been more specific, the PC only crashes when running certain games such as Far Cry 3 and 4, Lego Star Wars III, Dirt 3, Saints Row and a fewothers but works perfectly with other games which is why I am so perplexed

Run on onboard video or try another card first. And you should re-install the heatsink with new heat grease and make sure your case is free of dust and fans spin well.

Re-installing Windows will also help rule out software issues.

As hang-the-9 mentions, try another card. Since it only crashes during gaming, all evidence points towards the graphics card failing... However, it could also be extreme overheating during gaming. Have you tried CPUID hwmonitor to see your core temps and gpu temps while you are gaming? If anything goes above 75 degrees, then something is definitely wrong.

So Im about to try again, I made sure that my i7 is not trying to turboboost itself (lower temp) but graphics card-wise I only have another 1gb graphics card which cannot really run any games. I tried with the lowest quality game I have that constantly crashes (Saints Row The Third) but it could not run it at the lowest quality possible. Thanks for the suggestion, I might try and steal my brother's for a bit

I had to format my hard drive to stop the blue screen and reinstall the os and that fixed it for me.. If you have to format your hard drive copy everything that is important data you need to keep.
