I have a laptop that worked properly.. But I learn informatics so I wanted to disamble my whole laptop accidently broke the fan, I replaced it. My laptop won't turn on without the battery that I charge in another laptop so my problem now is everything works fine but I can't power up my laptop without charger. (The battery doesn't charge)

1)the charger works on different computers
2)I've 2batteries so I don't think that's the problem
3) ordered a new power socket replaced it didn't work
4)reinstalled the drivers it didn't work

my guess Is the motherboard but I find it so strange... Well the laptop is 1year old and ordering a new motherboard would be waste of money. Also I've no idea how it could be broken.

Acer Aspire V3-571G

Any ideas or solutions :(? Yeah I know it was stupid and I created my own problem but I'm learning from it which is somthing I guess)

Solution

I can't say for sure because I don't have the laptop in front of me to look at but its one of these two things:
1) Damaged or broken charger circuit
2) Short in the power connection between the PC and the battery.

It would seem like the connector between the battery and your laptop is broken or that both of your batteries are dead. Try leaving it plugged i overnight without powering it on and then unplug the laptop and see if it works on battery, else I would say that the charging terminals on your battery are not making a proper connection to the terminals on your laptop.
Also would it be possible to test the batteries in different laptops?

I'm inclined to say then that why you where dissasembling your laptop, you damaged the power connectors to the battery.

ohhh wait I think I maybe forgot to mention(or I didn't said it properly) that my computer won't power on without battery so... that would mean that your last answer isn't correct. It is somthing with the powersocket on the motherboard.. but still... my laptop does recognise my charger but it's start making those leds flashing all the time to show that there is a problem.

The laptop may have switches in the back which prevent it from powering on without the battery. I will look into the spec of the laptop. Feel free to unselect your answer choice.

so uhmm 1blue led and 1yellow/orange led starts getting on off on off and even if so it is somthing with the power because the battery doesn't charge. The charger isn't the problem, the battery isn't the problem the power socket is replaced that's is what I know.

(And I don't know how I can change the solution thingie I just joined this forum)
