Solution
It should, though with Arma/DayZ it is different since it is using an old engine, and with Dayz it wasn't intended for this kind of game, it is poorly optimized.

In general GTX 970 sli will outperform a GTX 980, however for some games sli simply doesn't work or doesn't make a difference untill the sli profile gets published.

It comes down to what resolution you are playing at, if you play at 1080p a single GTX 970 is already overkill.

Perfectly fine my friend.

I play both ARMA 3 and DAYZ on ULTRA at 1440p on a Asus ROG swift monitor with 2 STRIX 970... Well I shuold say 1 because it's working better without SLI enabled. I use the second one for PhysX only.

Depending of where I am is goes from 30sh to 75 fps but with GSYNC = always smooth

SLI profile not efficient and get jaggy play :(

Oh BTW my CPU is a i7-4790K @ 46Ghz with 16GHz ram
