Every test the speakers are listed says working properly but no sound comes out only sound comes out of usb headset

I have a usb headset that I use for work. For some reason my pc speakers no longer play. When I troubleshoot problem; it says that they are working properly but no sound comes out. When I switch them to default nothing comes out, when I switch back to headset sound comes out. What should I do next?

So when you set the speakers to the default device, they produce no sound? How about when the USB headset is unplugged?

Do the speakers work with other devices?

Just to make sure, are the speakers connected correctly?
