Does it make a difference, from lag and gaming etc, if you connect a USB hub to 1 USB and than connect 8 gaming peripherals to it, or if you connect gaming differentials to each individual port separately?

Signal-wise and electrical-wise it might make a difference. Depending on the amount of data each peripheral tranmists, and the USB type, it may or may not be noticeable. The hub has to switch between the various peripherals. But you won't find any motherboard that has 8 direct connections either - there usually are hubs on the motherboard for the ports as well. And you should be aware of the power draw on the motherboard USB hub. I've heard of instances where it was insufficiently powered to support heavy power draws.

Well there are the 4 USB 3 in the back along with 4 2.0 built in. It also has the large pit for front USB's and a few unused USB plugs around the mother board.

But to make sure I understand.
If I have a K95 RGB fully lit up along with M96 and Saitek X52 pro all plugged into a hub, it may be difficult for the hub to register all the inputs being made if multiple peripherals are used simultaneously?

Also, is there an extender to connect all my rear ports to a basic USB coupler and set it on top of my desk to avoid going to the back of my PC?
