I keep getting error code 0xc00000e9

I have just built my own computer and I am now trying to boot windows 7 on the ssd. I have tried booting it on every drive i have and no matter what I continue getting this error code. I have read that this might be a virus or my hard drive may be dead but i don't believe either of these are correct .

Have you tried to reinstall windows yet?
The error code comes up when an install had problems.
Have just the ssd hooked up and put a new install of windows on it, that should work.

I had the same error code on a Lenovo Laptop Recovery. Had to wipe the HDD and order W7 Recovery discs. Error happened with new recovery cd's from Lenovo.
Lenovo Tech support said it was either HDD, or CD Drive. I had them send another set of recovery discs because I fully tested the HDD (and it was good) then had an external cd/dvd drive and tried the discs and still got the same error.

New discs arrived and they worked and PC is now recovered.
So mine was recovery media cd.
