4790k need help get back stock speed

Hello! I've recently downclocked my cpu to 3.6 ghz ("Max Non Turbo Boost Ratio" = 34x).
I now tried to get everything back to stock. I use MSi | Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. Even though i put i back to 40x and enabled Turbo Boost, the speed of the processor WONT exceed 3.4 ghz in stress tests?

i've rebooted..

Please help, look at the settings, i need it stock..

Don't go to software to change your overclocking/underclocking settings.

Go into the mis bios and put everything to stock.

I went into bios - the CPU freq is set to 34 (as i set it to in intel utility recently, but changed back). I can't change the value in bios, it feels like it is locked

You should be able to select "restore defaults" in the bios. After you do that you will have set all the normal setup stuff but that should get you back to stock.
