hi all ,
my 1st question is , is there anyway to show all pictures on my computer at once or in one file or program ? , i mean i have many pictures on my computer are spreaded everywhere and i thing that there are pictures that i don't know their location therefore i was wondering whether there is a way to show all pictures on my computer in one program or folder regardless to their extensions like .jpeg .gif ,...etc

my second question for technicians , is there anyway to write a command on cmd that can show me all files in one drive ??? not only files in a directory but in entire drive like C: or D: ..etc, and for example if i want to see all .txt files in my C: drive ?

Solution
All your pictures should populate in your pictures library regardless of where they are stored. Just open Windows Explorer and access Pictures in the left panel under the Libraries subsection.

For your second question
Open command prompt
type the drive you want to access, e.g. type "C:" (without the parenthesis) if you want to access the C drive and then press enter
type DIR to displays all files and folders in the current directory
type DIR /S to lists the contents of all subdirectories

use the windows search feature. in win 7 when you click the start menu it has the search bar at the bottom. type in *.txt or *.jpg or whatever extension you are looking at. the * means any file name. the window that pops up will have the results. at the bottom of the search will be a set of buttons and selecting custom will allow you to select a specific drive or subfolder or whatever you wish to search in.

for all files simply search for *.* and it will list every file it finds. once done, you can save the search results to a text file
