Video Card Upgrade from HD 5770

I'm currently playing FFXIV ARR - looking to upgrade a little but whole new setup is out for now. Looking for a new card in the $200-$300 range.

Current Setup:
MB: Asus P8P67 Pro Rev 3.1
CPU: i5 2500k 3.4 Ghz
PS: OCZ700MXSP
GPU: MSI Radeon HD 5770

Let me know if a video card upgrade wouldn't make sense as well - I'd like to play 1920X1080 typically on just 1 monitor.

3-5 years is typical lifespan for descent units. The dielectric in the caps is likely totally worn out so it won't be filtering properly.

So I have good news. You are also buying a PSU so you don't wreck your new graphics card.

So what's your budget?

About 6-8x more powerful. I've tested all of them. Funny, because it probably isn't too much more expensive than your HD 5770 was brand new, huh?

even 3 xfire 5770 would not match that card.
