Overclocking Graphics Card

So this is my Graphics Cardand I was wondering if anyone on the forums has one and has overclocked it, if you have mind telling me your best overclock and settings? I'm not planning to overclocking my CPU until I get a better fan but I guess I can try overclocking my GPU, any suggestions if I should or shouldn't?

Normally, the Graphics card is a variable overclocker in many respects. There are many sites that can give you information on how this card clocks with a google search, but I would recommend building your own OC from the ground up.

I've seen cards like yours go up to ridicilous leves, and a different card of the same type barely able to overlcock.

Normally what I do is run a beanchmark like MSI Kombustor or Unigine Heaven, and then open up something like Afterburner and increase the memory clock by about 10, and the core clock by about 5, and then just dialing it up until you start to get crashes or GPU artifacts to a small degree. Then dial it down by small increments until you hit a level where you get satisfactory OC performance...

Then dial it down by small increments until you hit a level where you get satisfactory OC performance without crashing or artifacts. And always remember that while overclocking, the best results are reached while upping the temp target and voltage.

Just remember that overclocking reduces the life and stability of your card. While the performance can be greatly increased, it is best done if you plan to keep updated with your cards and have the ability to replace a blown card, if such a thing ever happens. This card comes factory Overclocked, so you won't be able to do as much with it as standard cards, because the performance comes pre-boosted.

Best of luck in your decision and (potentially) your overlcocking adventure!
