Hi guys i have a problem with my gpu. Every time i play a high demanding game my gpu shuts off then turns back on. the problem is though when playing games the display comes back on after crashing and i see the in game cursor but nothing else. Audio also works. I thought it was a display driver issue but i dont get the message that my display driver has stoped working. i tried lowering graphics to low but the problem still occurs.
My system=
MOBO- Asus A88x-pro
RAM- G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 mhz
APU- AMD A10-7850K Kaveri 12 Compute Cores (4 CPU + 8 GPU) 3.7GHz Socket FM2
it also has the integrated graphics 95W Desktop Processor AMD Radeon R7 series
GPU- EVGA geforce GTX 780 3gb ddr5 328bit and its also superclocked
PSU-Rosewill Lightning 1000w continuous and on the 12v rail @ 83 A
Also CPU and GPU are liquid cooled in series with my koolance 5 inch drive bay reservoir/ pump
I checked the connections on the gpu power conn. and replaced the modular cord with another but still happens.
i took GPU-z log screen shots and it seems that the card just powers off for an instance, then kiks rigtht back on, temps are fine at 95'F at max settings and gpu speeds seem fine.
could this be a malware causing the problem or a steam or applications problem.
