Hi guys i have a problem with my gpu. Every time i play a high demanding game my gpu shuts off then turns back on. the problem is though when playing games the display comes back on after crashing and i see the in game cursor but nothing else. Audio also works. I thought it was a display driver issue but i dont get the message that my display driver has stoped working. i tried lowering graphics to low but the problem still occurs.
My system=
MOBO- Asus A88x-pro
RAM- G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 mhz
APU- AMD A10-7850K Kaveri 12 Compute Cores (4 CPU + 8 GPU) 3.7GHz Socket FM2
it also has the integrated graphics 95W Desktop Processor AMD Radeon R7 series
GPU- EVGA geforce GTX 780 3gb ddr5 328bit and its also superclocked
PSU-Rosewill Lightning 1000w continuous and on the 12v rail @ 83 A

Also CPU and GPU are liquid cooled in series with my koolance 5 inch drive bay reservoir/ pump
I checked the connections on the gpu power conn. and replaced the modular cord with another but still happens.

i took GPU-z log screen shots and it seems that the card just powers off for an instance, then kiks rigtht back on, temps are fine at 95'F at max settings and gpu speeds seem fine.
could this be a malware causing the problem or a steam or applications problem.

i have HWmonitor pro but i dont see any PSU log files when logging except for vin voltage for GPU, is there a way to measure utilized current when operating at maximum efficiency. Also is there an app. that monitors current and voltage on PSU and all main leads supplying 12v rail. im guessing you would have to measure these manually with multimeter? i also swapped out the 780 gpu for a 650 TI but it still does the exact same thing

Weird, HWMonitor Pro usually reports 12v+ and vcore values, you could try with AIDA64.

As for a software capable to measure wattage usage etc i have no idea.

Monitor your CPU values/temps as well and check for any DPC latency issues, it could lead to excees of called interruptions possibly causing your problem.

I did stress test with OCCT for CPU, MEM, and GPU and all values of temp, voltages, and frequencies seem fine at original clock settings also i have DPC latency checker with the stress test doesnt get higher than 1000 US
also i had a couple malware viruses that i quarantined that were all called adware.gen do u think this was causing some interference with gpu?
if i needed to do a fresh install on GPU drivers how would i come about wiping it all clean and do fresh install
