On Tools is the drop down menu Options, and under that is a list, including
Security, Tabs, Applications, Privacy, etc. and ....
General

So clicking onto General, one may type in a home page link, such as
www.msn.com~~~~

however, there are, ALSO, over a dozen obsolete links that pop up
and no way to delete them, some from other web sites
seen long ago, some that have no meaning whatsoever.

Also, when on a blog, and you type in your board
name, prior board names used before, pop up
and there is no way to delete them.

How does one go about getting rid of old board names,
prior website links, and passwords, email addresses
and so on?Clearing Search History does not do it.

Exact instructions depend on what browser you use. Internet Explorer? Google Chrome? Mozilla Firefox? Opera?

What you are looking for is clearing form data and clearing browsing history.

I use Firefox and have gone to Internet Options and deleted form and history
and browsing, but still see these obsolete entries.

Is there another way to delete other than Internet Options?
