I've been asking around and come to a conclusion that heavy-mined card should be avoided. But how do i know if the one i'm gonna buy is from a casual gamer who doesnt need it anymore or a miner who wants to sell his tattered card at high price? I've been googling all day to no avail. There's no way to figure that out. You just have to hope the seller is legit or you just buy it new.

I say never buy used card from people you don't know. They may be a ticking time bomb. A long time ago I bought an old nVidia card, it worked flawlessly... for an entire 3 hours.

Yeah, right, the thing people are going to is going to show you that it "works" and than say that whatever you do with it afterwards is not their problem.
